Biography

Matt Higgs (also known as Matthew Higgs) is an Australian actor known for Once Ethereal (2025) and For the Dear Leader (2025). Based in Melbourne, Victoria he has trained at TAFTA and Brave Studios, working with industry professionals including Damian Walshe-Howling and Mark Hennessy. In addition to acting, he is also a writer and director, making his directorial debut with the award-winning short film Once Ethereal. He is in post-production on his next short film MODEL to be released in 2026.
