Laura is pregnant, but she doesn't want to have that child. Juan, her veterinarian husband, on the other hand, does. Laura seems obsessed with the piano lessons she gives to Sol, a young student in whom she has vague hopes: perhaps to see her pursue a career she'd given up on, or even the chance to escape from a town that's suffocating her.
