The film tells the story of the love between Nevin, a poor seamstress, and Kemal, the son of a wealthy businessman. Kemal and Nevin, who love each other, are making plans to get married. However, when Kemal's family strongly opposes the relationship, Kemal leaves home and starts working at a shipyard. The couple speeds up their wedding preparations. One day, while Nevin is at a fitting for a customer, she accidentally meets Eşref, the king of nightclubs. Eşref is captivated by Nevin's voice and beauty and wants to make her a singer. However, Nevin rejects his offer. Eşref, who wants to possess Nevin, will do everything in his power to separate her from Kemal.
